I've had a wonderful experience all through the process! Dr Mcalister is very congenial and easy going and his assessment of the surgery necessary for my ankle was clear and concise. The surgery scheduler contacted me quickly and was very professional and efficient, and my surgery was at the hospital of my choosing within the locations Dr Mcalister practices. My surgery went smoothly, and the outcome is exactly as expected. Overall it's been a great experience from the staff through to Dr. Mcalister himself. Dr. Riniker was excellent at explaining my condition and the options to treat it. She completed a surgery on my foot/ankle which worked just as she said. Her follow up care remains warm, competent, and comprehensive. Her staff is friendly and helpful. I give her the highest recommendation.

From the time you first enter the office, it is very comfortable & nicely furnished. The front desk is right there with very friendly receptionists, I didn't have to wait long, they x-rayed my foot in office, so when Dr McAllister came in, he could see what was wrong. He was informative, kind & very professional. I chose what I wanted to do & not do, left very happy with the experience. Highly recommend him!

Dr’s McAllister and Radcliffe explained the surgery and recovery in detail. By following their instructions of elevate and ice, I have not had any pain. The one day I overdid it, my foot let me know. Got a surgery, this was a pleasant experience.

It’s rare to find a doctor who is not only skilled but also so approachable and kind.

Dr. McAlister did my TAR surgery 2 years ago, and the total experience has been very good. The consultation at the beginning gave me needed answers, the surgery went well, and the follow-up visits have been helpful. Dr. McAlister is pleasant and helpful, and going through the process with him was quite positive.

So far a great results

This was an excellent experience from start to finish. I received great care for my stress fractures. After being misdiagnosed by another podiatrist who thought it was just arthritis and didn't order any imaging, Dr. McAlister and his team actually listened to me, took appropriate action, and quickly got me on the path to healing. Dr. McAlister is that perfect combination of a highly competent specialist who is also a great communicator and listens to his patients. If anyone in our family ever has any type of foot issue, this is the place we will go.

Dr. McAllister was great to work with he was straightforward easy to talk to and took the time to really listen to my current concerns. He found a solution to my issue during the visit which was a huge relief. I had the surgery. I’m six weeks postop and I feel a million times better. I felt at ease speaking with the doctor. She was thorough and informative when explaining what she concluded after c rays had been taken. She explained a short term plan. All in all, I am very satisfied with Dr Riniker.

I had my first toe laying on top of my great toe. The original surgeon totally botched the job and left me disfigured. I went to at least 7 podiatrists in the valley seeking someone to fix the wreck that was my left foot. No one wanted to attempt a revision for me. The last one ref me to Dr. Mcalister. He did a really good job restoring my foot . He has stayed on top of my progress postop to make sure I had the best outcome possible. If he can fix what was left of my foot and make it look normal again, I am pretty sure he can help anyone else correct whatever problem they have. I have great respect for this man's skills.

I had a Crisman-Snook allograft replacement and reinforced with a Brostrom repair of my ATFL and CFL. It has been 6 months since my procedure and I have had NO pain whatsoever, and my ankle feels great. I met with 4 other surgeons before deciding on Dr. McAlister. I chose him, because of his experience with this procedure and his recommendation to do the allograft instead of InternalBrace or Artelon.

In 2014 I shattered my right heel, and I have more than 11 screws holding my heel together.the hardware does not hurt me but the ARTHRITIS is terrible pain. I see DrMcAlister twice a year for a cortisone shot and it’s instant relief that lasts for several months. I’m an older lady that made a bad decision to jump over my back wall when I was48.

Had to wait quite awhile for my appt time. I'm more disappointed with the lack of concern for my pain levels daily. My orthotics came in and are at the office but they can not see me for me to get them until the 25th of this month. So I have to do without that possible relief until then. Its very disappointing bc I'm hoping they will help at least a little. I'm nonfunctional some days because it hurts so bad.

Brilliant Surgeon! Dr. McAlister and his staff are excellent in every way! I am coming up on my 16 week post op for a collapse in my subtalar body which Dr. McAlister repaired back in Feb. 2022. I consulted 4-6 surgeons in Chicago and they all told me that I would have to have my ankle fused after the failed hardware was removed among other complex issues. Dr. McAlister was the only surgeon who was willing to repair the mistakes made from another surgeon that caused the collapse to begin with and save my ankle from being fused! He genuinely cared enough to put in the time and effort to lead me to a pain free ankle without the fusion! I will be eternally grateful to this great man and surgeon to care enough to get me walking again after ambulating by wheelchair for the past 3 years! His staff are friendly, caring and are always happy to help! I have just started PT, but I am almost pain free after 15 years!

I had chronic PF like pain for almost 2 years and tried everything non-surgical. After PT didn’t remove the pain completely, Dr McAlister ordered an MRI which showed a tiny bone spur. He did a procedure with a scope and in less than two weeks I am healing quickly and no longer feel the pain I had before. He’s personable & knowledgeable which made me feel comfortable going into surgery. Plus each of his staff is great which is super important.

Phenomenal! Dr. McAlister is a brilliant surgeon with an awesome beside manner! Not only that, but if you have any foot or ankle issues, look no further! I was to 8 doctors and not one gave me a logical and acceptable answer, however, one consultation with Dr. McAlister and I knew he was the surgeon that I needed! I had a plate &?8 screws in my ankle which failed, I had all the hardware removed from a surgeon in Chicago, who totally botched my surgery and my tibia collapsed into my subtalar joint, my Achilles’ tendon needed to be stretched, my ankle which was supposed to get fused, never was done properly hence the collapsed which left me unable to walk for the past 18 months! I am 16 days post op and I don’t have nearly as much pain as I did the past 18 months! Thank God for Dr. McAlister my very skilled surgeon!

My online inquiry was responded to the same day and the office staff called me the next morning. I was able to schedule a Telehealth appointment the following week. We traveled from Texas to have Dr. McAlister to do my daughter's surgery. She was in a car accident in 2019 and sustained major injuries to both of her feet and developed avascular necrosis (bone death) in her left foot. 5 doctors in Texas said there was nothing they could do to help her. I began my search online and found an article that Dr. M contributed to that specifically mentioned him and a new treatment option for AVN. I knew from the minute I read the article that I found the person that was going to help my daughter. Everything from the first phone call with Yensi to her most recent follow up has been superb. She is finally on the road to getting her life back and I cannot thank Dr. M and the staff enough for all they have done.

Dr McAlister and his entire staff were courteous and kind. I waited no more than 5 minutes to be called back and then another 5 minutes in exam room to be seen. He was helpful and gave me some options. He even recommended some shoes and sandals that would be good for my feet. That’s a cool move!

Dr. McAlister is the third podiatrist I have seen for my foot issues and the first to do an ultrasound on my foot. He knew right away what needed to happen, did a cortisone injection, the second one I have had but the first by Dr. McAlister. For the record I am not a fan of needles and feet are tender so one of his PA's let me hang on to her arm until it was over and I can't say how much I appreciated that. This second shot has helped quite a lot, I can now get through a day of work with nearly zero pain in my heal. My PT starts this week, so thanks to Dr. McAlister and his entire amazing staff I can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel. I highly recommend Dr. McAlister to anyone with foot issues, he and his staff are absolutely amazing and so glad I found you.

Dr. McAlister was smart, thorough and punctual for my appointment. He took plenty of time to answer all of my questions. I feel like I am in great hands with him and have surgery scheduled.

So far, so good. 2 1/2 months into an ankle replacement by Dr McAlister and I feel that my recovery is progressing reasonably fast. I've been walking without assistance for a month, though I'm still experiencing some pain, stiffness and swelling. I'm confident that after extensive physical therapy I'll be walking with ease. Dr McAlister is straight forward and honest and I have confidence in him and his abilities.
